Six Brunton Place is in central Edinburgh, just a very short walk from the heart of the city, and minutes from Holyrood Palace, Dynamic Earth, the new Scottish Parliament and the historic Royal Mile. Take a walk up the Royal Mile, with it's individual shops and cafes, to the majestic Edinburgh Castle, famous for staging the annual Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

If you are travelling by car there is free on-street parking outside during evenings and at weekends.

At all other times we will pay for your Parking Costs opposite the Guest House.

Edinburgh Airport is 9 miles from Six Brunton Place, and Waverley Train Station is just 1 mile away.

Edinburgh has a very reliable and frequent bus service. The following buses pass Six Brunton Place: 1, 4, 5, 15, 15A, 19, 26, 34, 44 and 45

On the doorstep is Arthur's Seat, in Holyrood Park, one of the 'seven hills of Edinburgh'. The surrounding extensive parklands and lochs offer many different walks for everyone.

From the top of Arthur's Seat you have a magnificent panorama taking in Edinburgh Castle, the Old Town and the New Town. On a good day, the Ochil Hills beyond the Forth Road Bridge and the Firth of Forth can be clearly seen.
